We have several goals for this event. The main goal is to get publicity for Chabot College. We plan to advertise the event at local high schools and middle schools, as well as around the Bay Area. We believe this will encourage new students to attend who might not have known or considered Chabot College before. At the event itself, we will have booths dedicated to promoting the college where we could pass out course schedules and other school related materials.

We’re planning to make this a multi-club and multi-business event. We will be welcoming and asking other clubs for assistance. We have already talked to several clubs, including the Engineering Club, the International Club, MSA Club, and others who are interested in participating with us. We also plan on asking local businesses like E-on, Gamestop, and EB Games to attend. In this way current students can benefit from this event by providing opportunities to show leadership and school participation in both the community and business world.

Specific Goals

• To promote Chabot College and encourage new students.
• Help students show and develop leadership skills.
• To encourage student participation and school spirit on campus.
• To help fund future events and activities.
• To share interests and talents with the local community in a positive way.
