Running All Day (Room 2642)
Site back, relax, and enjoy the show! There will be a theatre sized room designated for showing episodes and movies of the hottest licensed anime all throughout the entire event. You can drop in and out at any time. A schedule of anime showings will be posted online here at your convenience soon.
Running All Day (Main Cafeteria)
Never forget how important the arts are! We're displaying art of anime influence from talented students of Chabot College and throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. There will be pieces of fan art from popular anime as well as original and conceptual art from aspiring animators and hobbyists.
Running All Day (Cafeteria Balcony)
Not only do we have anime, we've got manga! For all you manga enthusiasts out there we have a treat for you. We're setting up hundreds of manga and comic books to read and look at in the cafeteria balcony. Grab a chair, sit back, and bury yourself in your reading.
3pm-4pm (Main Cafeteria)
Dress up as your favorite character from an anime, video game, or other work of fiction and have a blast! We're giving out awards for the best costume, best cosplay group, and best reenactment of a scene. The Wild 94.9 Party Crew will even be there to MC the event!
Various Times (Cafeteria Balcony)
This is when you, the attendee, gets a chance to really be involved in Kin-Yoobi Con. We present topics for attendees to discuss in a forum setting where your opinion gets heard by everyone. Take your side and defend it the best you can while downgrading your opposition. Disagreement and debating is encouraged!
Topic 1: Manga vs. Anime, which is the better? 9am-10am
Topic 2: Versus, who would win in a fight? 10am-11am
Topic 3: Aspects of Otakuism: What makes an Otaku? 11am-1pm
Topic 4: Console Wars: Nintendo vs. S vs. Sony Microsoft. 1pm-3pm
Topic 5: Dubs vs. Subs: Dubbed voiceovers or subtitled text, which is the best way to watch anime? 3pm-5pm

Before American Idol, before Star Search, even before Amateur Night at the Apollo, Karaoke has always been an activity in which a person with no musical talent could sing along to a favorite tune. We don't care if you can sing or not! Come on up stage and sing to your favorite anime theme and have a great time. We've got the instrumental versions of some of the most popular anime themes and we're even providing you with the lyrics. Now, being on pitch, tone and tempo, well, that's all on you...

Buy merchandise and commodities of the anime persuasion. DVDs, posters, action figures, trading cards, art, and music CDs are just some of the stuff up for sale by merchants, dealers, and vendors. If you're interested in becoming a vendor at Kin-Yoobi Con check out the dealers section.

Various Times (Ceaser Chavez Plaza)
KCRH 89.9, Chabot College's radio station, will be playing music from animes and video games throughout the event. Enjoy the anime and video game ambiance, courtesy of KCRH DJs. A full list of music to be played will be available online soon for your convenience. First time slot: 9am-12pm. Second time slot: 1pm-2pm. Third time slot: 3pm-4pm.
11:30am-12:30pm (Ceaser Chavez Plaza)
Free food will be served courtesy of Game-Zone Recreation and KCRH 89.9! There will be grilling and barbequing taking place during the event so food will be fresh and hot. Drinks will also be available for free! A list of foods and drinks will be available online soon.
Running All Day (Cafeteria Loyer)
Immerse yourself in imagination and creativity. The Role Players' Realm will feature table top and pen & paper games of all types such as Dungeon and Dragons, Warhammer, and Munchkin. You're welcomed to bring your own miniatures, play pieces and handbooks.
Running All Day (Room 2340)
Ready to get your game on! We're having video games set up all day for attendees to play. We'll have the Nintendo Gamecube, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, Nintendo Entertainment System, Microsoft Xbox, Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony Playstation 2, Sony Playstation 3, Sega Dreamcast, and NEC TurboGrafix systems set up for free play.

Do you think you have gaming skills? Put them to the test at our video game tournaments. We're hosting four video game tournaments requested by demand from the San Francisco Bay Area community. No entrance fees!
Running All Day (Ceaser Chavez Plaza)
Bay Area Tankers is a San Francisco Bay Area organization that specializes in model and scale tank creation and design. They will be bringing three tanks that can be controlled via remote control. The tanks are exact replicas of real World War II models scaled down 1/6 scale. Attendees will be free to operate these tanks. It's going to be an all out war at Kin-Yoobi Con!

Don't leave Kin-Yoobi Con alone! Take a date with you! Kin-Yoobi Con has just the means to do it. We're having some of the nicest looking anime fans on stage garbed in Cosplay costume and you, the attendee, will have the opportunity to buy a dinner date with them after the con. Want to go on a date with Cloud? How about a date with Tifa? What about a date with Inyuasha or with Rei? All auctions start at $2.
